defections of Htfe
On Friday, September 2, 2011 God was assessing his garden. He noted that a radiant addition needed to be made. He then stretched forth His hands from heaven to select the most beautiful rose which was M ildred Vivian Curienne Tutt Wilds.
Mrs. Wilds was born on December 9, 1927, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Garrett H. Tutt and Lubertha D. Bradley Tutt Green.
She joined Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age. Her church involvement included: E. L. Stewart Choir, Missionary Society, Mothers of the Church and Deaconess Board.
Her elementary and high school education was received at Haines Institute. As an academic scholar, she was able to skip a grade and graduated as Valedictorian of her class in 1944.
She then matriculated at Hampton Institute, Hampton, Virginia, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1948. While at Hampton, she was inducted into her beloved Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She was named Queen of the Phyllis Wheatley Society.
Upon graduating from Hampton Institute in 1948, she returned to Augusta, Georgia to begin her teaching career with the Richmond County Board of Education where she was employed for thirty-five (35) years. While employed in the school system, she had been a first grade teacher, visually-impaired teacher and ultimately Assistant Director of Special Education for seventeen (17) years. She retired in 1983.
On April 11, 1952, she was united in holy matrimony to Dennis Wendell Wilds, Sr. To this union, two (2) children were conceived: Donna Denyse Wilds and Dennis Wendell Wilds, Jr.
Vivian and Dennis pursued their Master of Science degree in education from Indiana University and completed their degree together in 1956. Mrs. Wilds did post graduate work at Syracuse University, Colorado State University and the University of Georgia.

Forever and Always
Why are you crying?Do you think that F m gone? I haven't left you, F m where I belong. A nytim e you are lonely, anytime you are sad, anytime that your heart breaks, anytime you are mad; all you have to do is close your eyes and I 'll be there with you, you see the world may take
my body, but that's all that it can do. When Jesus died upon the cross he took away our sins, He conquered death so we can live in heaven where life begins. D on't stop the memory o f the time
we shared, it's God's way to help you through; take time to laugh when life gets hard, the way we used to dol A smell? A touch ? The morning sun ? They all will help you see, F m still here, I never left, now smile once more fo r me. Live each day, keep looking up, my life was not in vain, I finished the task I was born to do, that's why I couldn't remain. U ntil I see you - 1 love you
forever and always.
