Obituary
On February 3,1927 parents Eugene & Lucy Curry Johnson became the proud parents o f a beautiful baby girl whom they named Lizzie Mae Johnson. Lizzie grew to be a strong and proud young woman. Lizzie, who was never one short of words caught the adoring eye of, and later married the late Henry Wilder on the blessed day of January 14,1945. The couple enjoyed thirty two loving years together before his passing on June 6,1977. Lizzie, being the foundation of her family and a true matriarch weathered the storm and put her faith in that of the Lord and the church she served, Tabernacle Baptist Church. As a loyal and devoted member she served on the Women's Mission, Prayer Band, and the Adult Choir. Lizzie touched the lives and helped raise so many children as though they were her very own. There was no child that she could not touch with her kind heart, loving spirit, and trembling chuckle. Though her soul has gone to heaven she leaves behind so many wonderful memories to all that knew and loved her.
