O ur pillar of strength is gone She helped us feel so safe from harm Her smile and words never loud or strong
Carried out her amiable charm Strong was her love for family life For friends and children who must go on
But G od decided her duties done To TAKE HER TO A BETTER HOME
Our lives were sometim es cold and bleak B u t sh e was n ev er far away
And when our paths seemed dark and steep G od seemed to let her hear us pray Yes our m o th er and g ra n d m o th er O ur pillar of strength is gone Yet, s h e 's gone to a b et t e r hom e
