Obituary
John H. Warren, Jr. (Mike), was born in Augusta, Georgia. He was the son of the late John and Mable Warren, Senior.
At an early age he accepted Christ and was baptized at the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
He married Corine Mahone Willis. There were no children born to this marriage.
He graduated from Haines Institute. He attended South Carolina State College and was a current member of the Alumni Association. He played football at Haines Institute and South Carolina State College. He was an avid enthusiast of football during his life time, and really played some good arm chair football.
He retired from the federal government as a postal employee, where he served faithfully for thirty years. He retired in 1984 and remained a member of the Natioanl Alliance Letter Carriers Association.
His survivors include, his devoted wife, Corine Warren; daughter, Petula Lynn Williams; three grandchildren, Miachel, Mario and Montreze Williams; a niece, Betty Warren Davis of San Antonio, Texas; an aunt, Ruby Ro7ar of East Islip, New York; mother-in-law, Mrs. EllaJ. Willis of Cleveland, Ohio; and others who mourn him are a host of cousins and friends.
