** OBITUARY **
John H. Warren, Sr. was one of three children born to the late John Fredrick and Rena Warren on October 23,1886 in Augu sta, Georgia.
He received his educational background from Haines Institute under the watchful eye of the renowned Lucy Craft Laney.
In the early 1900s, he met and married the former Mable Courtney. To this union was born one son, John H. Warren, Jr., commonly called Mike. Mrs. Warren departed this life on January 25,1970.
At a very early age Mr. Warren was introduced to Trinity C. M. E. Church by his parents. It was there that he met his maker, received his spiritual nourishment, fellowshipped with his friends, and where he devoted his loyalties.
After working for a number of years in his own business, he was hired by the Federal Government as a postal employee and he served faithfully for thirty years. He retired in 1950.
He leaves to mourn a devoted son, John H. Warren, Jr.,
Augusta, Georgia; a loving sister, Ruby Rozar, Islip, New York; a
devoted friend, Ula M. Rouse, Augusta, Georgia; an affectionate
granddaughter, Petula Lynn Rouse, Augusta, Georgia; a personal
companion, Henrietta Green, Augusta, Georgia, and a multitude of
folks that loved him..

We are saddened. Our grief is great. What is the nature of our grief? One of the oldest members of our church, Mr. John H. Warren, Sr., has gone to be with his maker.

Let us sing praises and give thanks to Almighty God for allowing us the opportunity to have known Brother Warren.
RESPONSE: Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Amen
