OBITUARY
Life, death and eternity are three of the most powerful words in the English language. Life is given to man in infancy and it is his until death. At the coming of death man loses only the earthly body but the eternal soul of a Christian lives on.
Mrs. Mammie Warren was born July 28, 1911 to Mr. Roy and Mrs. Rosa Barksdale. She was baptised at the Powellton Baptist Church at a very early age. She later joined the Crawford Baptist Church where she remained and served faithfully until death. She met and married Mr. Robert Warren. She departed this life February 5, 1969 at 11:30 A. M.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Robert Warren of Augusta, Georgia; mother, Mrs. Rosa Barksdale of Detroit, Mich.; one daughter, Miss Betty Warren; two sons, Mr. Fred McCreary of Augusta, Ga. and Mr. Willie McCreary of Washington. D.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Vera Swain of Norwood, Ga., Mrs. Eunice Harline and Mrs. Rosa Lee Battle of Detroit, Mich.; three brothers, Mr. Steven Barksdale, Mr. Roy Barksdale and Mr. Farris Borksdale, all of Detroit, Mich.
