Obituary
EvanyeCist flnnie Oakley Edwards Warnerwas born January
21, 1938 to the late James David Edwards Sr. and the late Katherine Smith. After a short battle with Lung Cancer, the angels of the Lord were dispatched to her bedside on Friday, September 28, 2012 at her home.
She was raised in Dallas, Texas and received her education in Dallas Public Schools. In 1953, she married the late Mr. Leon Cofield Sr. whom she bared four children with. After twelve years of marriage, they decided to part ways.
In 1963, she then decided to move to Los Angeles, California. There she became a cook for the Los Angeles Unified School District. While living there, she met her husband the late Mr. O'Neal Warner. After his death in 1985, she decided to retire from work to spend time with her beloved family.
In 1988, she re-located to Augusta, Georgia until her return to her heavenly father.
She was a mother, a sister, a grandmother, and a friend to many. She loved her family and friends, but most of all she loved the Lord. Throughout her life she always taught her family the word of the Lord. She was so involved with the Lord that she became an Evangelist to become closer to the Lord. She touched many lives and hearts of those whom knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. O'Neal Warner and her two sons, Mr. Leon Cofield Jr. and Mr. Kelvin E. Cofield. She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Quinthia "Renee" Hall and her friend Mr. Robert Peek both of Augusta, GA; a son Steven (Rosa) Wayne Cofield Sr. of Brick, NJ; two sisters, Lois Randall and Dr.

Dorothy Coleman both of Dallas, TX; a brother, Rev. James D. Edwards Jr of Augusta, GA; nine grandchildren, Eric (LaShawnda) Hall, DeAndria (Darren) Deboskie-Moore, Jimmie (Christina) Hall II, Clayton Murray and his fiance Desiree Abraham, all of Augusta, GA, Porche (Kenza) Phillips, Steven Cofield Jr., Angelica Col ield both of Los Angeles, CA, Stephanie (Brendan) Caroline of Manchester, NJ and Nathan Bartlett ofKaufman, TX. She also leaves behind 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
