On Saturday morning, April 10, 2010 MARY LEE WALLEY was ushered on to her heavenly home. After a brief illness, her soul arose to the heavens at 12:00 noon to reclaim peace and harmo ny. She was born January 7, 1940 to the late Sam Wright, Jr. and Rosa Lee Wright.
She grew up in Eutawville, SC community surrounded by a huge loving family and attended the public schools of Orangeburg District #3.
She attended St. James Baptist Church at an early age until she was united in holy matrimony on March 8, 1958 to Charlie Walley, Jr. She moved her membership to ST. Matthews A.M.E. Church where she served diligently in the missionary, Stewardess Board, and Senior Choir to name a few for over 30 years. She has also been a long time member of the Eastern Star Lodge #324.
In addition, to her parents preceding her in death, there were her brothers, Samuel, Morris, and George Wright; sisters, Rosanne and Jacqueline Wright, and her beloved husband of over 50 years, Charlie Walley, Jr.
She is loved and survived by her six chil dren, Shirley (Myron) McCullough of Chicago, IL, Helen Walley of the home, Ricky (Daphne) Walley of Eutawville, SC, Albertha Walley of Boston, MA, Rosa (Louis) Tauaese of Augusta, GAand Rodney Walley of Atlanta, GA and a sister reared as a daughter, Rose Marie Middleton of Eutawville, SC; along with three grandsons, Jason McCullough of Tallahassee, FL, Jordan and Joshua Walley of Eutawville, SC and a granddaughter, Brittany "Puse" Dent of Augusta, GA; her sisters and brothers to include Jessie Walker of Goose Creek, SC, Richard (Mariah) Wright and Henry Wright all of Eutawville,SC, Johnnie (Vernell) Wright, Sr. of Vance, SC, John (Victoria) Wright of Oklahoma City, OK, Peter (Mamie) Wright, Harry Wright, Paul (Onetha) Wright all of Eutawville, SC, Benjamin (Joyce) Wright of Holly Hill, SC, Joseph Wright of Mansfield, TX, Nathaniel (Barbara) Wright of Greensboro, NC, Deborah (James) Macon of Raleigh, NC and Sallie Oliver of Goose Creek, SC; step siblings, Elizabeth (John) Halls of Cross, SC, Elick (Annie Lois) Gadson of Long Island, NY...

...and Paul (Shirley) Gadson of Orangeburg, SC; sisters-in-law, Lizzie Marie Packer of New York, Lucille (Calvin) Roberson of North Carolina, Deloris Walley of Eutawville, SC and five brothers-in-law, Caesar Walley of New York, Lander and Willie J. (Rosa) Walley of Eutawville, SC, Roy Wigfall of New York, and Willie (Bea) Wigfall of Charleston, SC, one uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, adopted grand kids, cousins, neigh bors, Curves friends, some very dear friends to include Sis. Rosetta Frasier, known as "Sister" and a host of other truly dear friends.
