Don't grievefor me, for now I 'mfree. I 'mfollowing the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close o f the day.
I f my parting has left a void, Thenfill it with rememberedjoys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times o f sorrow. I wish you the sunshine o f tomorrow. My life's beenfull, I savored much. Goodfriends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts andpeace to thee. God wanted me now; He set mefree!

LIFE REFLECTIONS &. ~m s?
On the evening of April 11, 2009, God allowed death angels to usher home, Charlie "Bank" Walley, Jr. He was bom on October 8, 1937 to the late Charlie Robbie Walley, Sr. and Alma Yeadon Walley. He grew up in Eutawville, SC community. At an early age he proudly took the responsibility of providing for his mother, brothers and sisters. He was a strong willed, PROUD, independent, hardworking, and determined man who loved his family in his own unique way. He has been a truck driver for all of his years and enjoyed the adven ture that allowed him to discover vast areas of South Carolina and Georgia.
At an early age, he became a member of St. Matthews A.M.E. Church in Cross, SC where he served as one of the class leaders.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Lee Wright Walley for over 50 years and was blessed with six children. He worked hard all of his life and was still working at Halls Trucking of Cross, SC until February 2009 when he had to stop due to illness. Many knew him, but few truly knew the man behind the mystery. For his wife, children, and grandchildren he had a won derful sense of humor that will be cherished forever.
He leaves behind a devoted and loving wife, Mary Lee Walley; four daughters and two sons, Shirley (McCullough (Mac) of Chicago, IL, Helen Walley of the home, Ricky Walley (Daphne) of Eutawville, SC, Albertha Walley of Boston, MA, Rose Tauaese (Louis) of Augusta, GA and Rodney Walley of Atlanta, GA, along with three grandsons, Jason McCullough of Tallahassee, FL, Joshua and Jordan Walley of Eutawville, SC and a granddaughter, Brittany "Puus" Dent of Augusta, GA; a sister-in-law reared as a daughter, Rose Marie Middleton of Eutawville, SC; two sisters, Lizzie Marie Walley Packer of New York and Lucille Roberson of North Carolina; five brothers, Caesar of New York, Lander and Willie J. of Eutawville, SC, Willie and Roy Wigfall of Charleston, SC and two brothers who preceded him in death, Jacob Walley and James Yeadon. In addition, he leaves a host of brothers-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, friends and co-workers.
God saw the road was getting rough The hills were hard to climb
He gently closed those loving eyes, And whispered, Peace Be Thine.
The weary hours, the days o fpain The loss, the sleepless nights are past
The ever patient, worn-outframe Has found sweet rest at last.
We love you, but God loves you best.
