On Friday, March 4, 1977, at 4:00 p.m ., our death m other, Ms. Emmie Jennings Williams Wallace, departed this world to join our Savior for an eternal resting place.

At an early age she joined the Bland Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, the first President of the Junior Usher Board, a member of the Senior Choir, Treasurer of the Willing W orkers Club, and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was also a m em ber of the Young Ladies of Honor of Edgefield and Johnston, and of the Mutual Aid of Johnston. She was loved by everyone in the community.

She was the daughter of the late Hamp and Emma Jennings. At an early age she married the late Elzy Williams and to this union nine chldren were born. Later she married the late Roper Wallace and to this union four children were born.

She leaves to mourn: three sons, John R. and Jessie J. W illiams of Johnston, and Fred C. Williams of Edgefield; four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn W. Scott and Mrs. Mary M. Brincefield of W ashington, D. C., M rs. M attie Lucille Betts of Lanham, M d., and Mrs. Valeria A. Daniels of Aiken, S. C .; one step-son, Willie Wallace of Miami, Florida; two stepdaughters, Ms. Mattie Wallace of Miami, Florida, and Ms. Rebecca Dukes of Johnston, S. C.; one brother, Johnnie Jennings of W ashington, D. C.; one sister, Ms. Lizza Campbell of Batesburg, S. C.; one half sister, Viola Mason; four sons-in-law, five daughters-inlaw, one brother-in-law, and two sisters-in-law, forty-three grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren, one greatgreat-granchild, eleven step-grandchildren, ten step-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and sorrowing friends.
