(fir. Eugene Walker was bom on November 13, 1936 in Montgomery, Alabama to Rose Wheeler and Jimmy Walker. He was educated in the Ohio School System and graduated from East Tech High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He was married to the former Mary Ann Henderson and from this union, three children were born. The farriily moved to Augusta in 1975 and Srother Walker united with 1st. Shiloh S a p tist Church. He retired from the military in 1955 a fte r 26 years of service. In October 2002, he retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital. His family describes him as having a quiet demeanor and as being a man of few worde. Walker, and Eric Walker, six grandchildren; LaShawn Walker, Aleshia Conner, Sierra Eanes, Michael Eanes, Jr. Ashley A. Hulse, and Francis M. Hulse, three gre a t grands; Seyonna P. Sell, De'Andre L. Surten, Jr. and Ekari Goodoon, father, Jimmy Walker; step-father, James Wheeler, six sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, foster daughter; Toni Weaver, two godsons; Paul Anderson, Jr., and Dorian Coleman and a host of other relatives and friends.
