Daniel Walker, Sr. was born February 20, 1915, in Canoochee, Georgia to the late John Mack Walker and Sadie Oglesby. He entered into rest Saturday, August 13, 2005. At an early age he joined the New Life Baptist Church in Aline, Georgia After moving to Augusta, he joined Bethel A.M.E. Church where he served as a steward for more than thirty years _

He married Fannie Philyaw. After her death, he married Bertha

McNatt Carter Daniel was the father of four children, one

preceded him in death. Christopher C Walker

Daniel was a family man and loved by his children, grandchildren great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, as well as mam of the neighborhood children, who affectionate!) called him "Grand daddy Daniel never met a stranger His favorite sport wa?hunting. He was an excellent marksman He retired form Murra\ Biscuit Compam after twenty-five years of service

Survivors are: two sons; Daniel (Patricia) Walker, Jr.. Hephzibah.

GA., Dandy (Marie) Walker, Augusta, GA., daughter; Ixnnse

(Norman) Ryans, Augusta, GA, sisters; lola Haywood of Augusta.

GA., I^aura Lovell of Gary, IN., five grand daughters; Tamara

Parker Greene, Augusta, GA., Nedenia Parker (Ulysses) Barber,

Evans, GA., Joya (James) Trottie, Hephzibah, GA., Krista (Stacy)

Himes, Grovetown, GA., Tishua Ryans, Augusta, GA., two grand

sons; Darryl (Ann) Walker, Evans, GA., David Walker, Statesboro,

GA., eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, a

beloved friend, Charles Bennett, and a host of nieces, nephews,

cousins and friends.
