A Peaceful Ride To Glory
O ne day an angel whispered gentle in my ear.
My child com e hom e - and be at rest, For we need you over here. I beckoned to his call,
For my work on earth was complete. I just im agined all th e glory, O f being at m y S avior's Feet. I surrendered to his will
And took a chariot ride hom e. A ride as peaceful
and tranquil as a beautiful white dove, D o n 't w eep m y beloved family and friends, For my soul is now at rest In heaven above. --Rita Branch
