Im Free
Dont grieve for me, for Im free Im following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, or pray,
Things left undone just stay that way. Ive found my peace at the end of the day. If my parting has left a void then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah, these things I too miss. My lifes been full, Ive savored much, Good friends, Gods love,
And a dear ones touch. So be not burdened with tears of sorrow Dont grieve for me- look to tomorrow Lift up your heart and share with me;
God wanted me now, He set me free.
Acknowledgments Words cannot express the humbleness and gratefulness that we feel towards all of our friends and family who have consoled us during our time of bereavement. Your prayers, love, presence
and service have sustained us. Whatever it was that you ve done to console our hearts, we thank you very much.
