The Legacy of Momma's Life
I have finished now with this house of clay, Please kindly and gently lay me away; And let me rest from this life of pain, Toiling in sunshine, storms and rain; Trying to help the sick and the poor,
And turning no needy person from my door.
I have started to do my Master's work Never a duty did I shirk
Many times I was misunderstood, Even when I did the best I could.
I am tired now, so let me rest, Don't cry, for God knows best. Don't weep for me, I am not dead I am with the Lord, just as He said. I have another house, you know. Where the Redeemed of the Lord get to go. I don't need this house of clay, So tenderly and gently, lay it away.

To Nana With Love...
Mothers Never Die... They Just Keep House Up In The Sky
--Helen Steiner Rice-
Death beckoned with outstretched hand And whispered softly of "An Unkown Land"
But she was not afraid to go For though the path she did not know She took Death's Hand without a fear, For He who safely brought her here Had told her He would lead the way
Into Eternity's Bright Day... And so she did not go alone Into the "Valley Fhat's Unknown" She gently took Death by the Hand And journeyed to "The Promised Land"... And there, with steps so light and gay, She polishes the sun by day And lights the stars that shine at night And keeps the moonbeams silvery bright... For Mothers really never die They just Keep House Up In The Sky"... And in the Heavenly Home above They wait to "Welcome" those they love.

Perhaps you sang a touching song,
or came and sat quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent lovely flowers,
if so we saw them there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words,
or helped us to pray.
Perhaps you were not there at all,
just thought of us that day. Perhaps you prepared some tasty food,
or maybefurnished a car.
Perhaps you rendered a service unseen,
right here or from afar.
Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you sincerely, whatever the
part.
