Now that I am older I truly understand You are why before mother they use the word "grand"
Magnificent and imposing in appearance and style Impressively beautiful was your spirit and smile.
Ourfamily tradition we will carry on fo r you Third Sundays in Sylvania, with more than enough fo o d
to chew I always enjoyed writing letters to your friends and Aunt
Annie Bell too Sometimes even a song when I made calls with you.
Not one birthday did you everforget A card with $5 you always sent
Your love and care fo r others always shined through A trait that I 'm thankful to have from you.
Now on to the cooking, your biscuits were the best! A recipe that has put us all to the test
Food fo r the soul is what you were known fo r Our trips to the grocery store I 'll always adore.
Your kids called you "Muh " but you were grandma to me The love that you showed even the blind could see
Whenever you were greeted and asked "How are you?" You would always say "I 'm doingfine; thank the Lord.
And you?"
Now you are resting in G od's arms peacefully A part o f G od's choir, hitting every key
For God made the ultimate decision after seeing your tired fa c e
Next to his throne, he provided a space
Although we 'll miss you, you 'll live through us all Leaning on each other when one strays orfalls
Your time on this earth has been significant and remains true
We are a fam ily fu ll o f love and w e'll all be ju st fine Thanks to the Lord and you.
