O&ituory
On September 3, 1999, ^Joseph ^tOKCS, lovingly known as Son Joe, was called home by his Heavenly Father to be joined again with his loving wife, Dollie Mae Stokes, who preceded him in death on November 26,1996,
Throughout his illness he remained faithful in his Lord knowing He would never leave him but comfort him while preparing a place for him. We were truly blessed to have him as a father and grandfather.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: two daughters, Betty Ann Hill and Joanne Richardson; one son-in-law, Ralph Richardson; five grandchildren, Crystal Watts, Yolanda Brown, Ralph Richardson, Jr., Clarence Jones and Keisha Richardson; six great grandsons, Jordan Watts, Julian Watts, Bilal Gidron, Juwann Jones, LaQuan Richardson and JayIon Jones; two grandsons-in-law, Edward Watts and Monique Richardson, all of Bronx, NY; two sisters, Lillie Mae Stokes, Bronx, NY and Katherine Sullivan, Evans, GA; one brother, Clarence Stokes, Augusta, GA; four sisters-in-law, Sadie Perrin, Bronx, NY; Annie Maude Stokes, Augusta, GA; Marguerite Dunn, St Albans, Queens and Viola Henderson, Augusta, GA; two brothers-in-law, Wallace Henderson, Evans, GA and Charlie Harris, Bronx, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
