Richard (Fannie) Stevens, was bom July 23,1917, in Columbia County, Georgia.
He departed this life on May 16, 1998, at the University Hospital.
He was a member of Crawford Grove Baptist Church for many years. He worked at Claussen Lawrence Construction Company, where he worked as a cement finisher before he retired.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Hattie Robinson Stevens, Augusta, GA; one son, Mr. J. D. Stevens, New York; one sister, Mrs. Sarah (Raymond) Gibson, Augusta, GA; seven stepchildren, Mr. Jake Robinson, Jr., Mr. Micheal Parks, Mr. Johnson Robinson, Mr. Sheroy Robinson, Mrs. Hattie Harris, Mrs. Dorothy Moore and Mrs. Deloris Lowe, all of Augusta, GA; four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Irene Hamilton and Mrs. Lula Lee, both of Augusta, GA; Mrs. Daisy Collins, Evans, GA; and Mrs. Mattie Williams, of New York; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
