Passing over thousands and millions who die in infancy and in youth dfid in bloom of life, we may say to all who attain the full age or more, m a t life is a "vapor th a t appeareth fo r a little while thep vaniahea away."
The flowers th a t discharge their ministry of love, laboreth their work, seed and die, but not until their work is done. The mighty retains its vigor fo r age, but falls a t last. Then insect race fade wi th the leaf a^d die with dying years; their span is brief, but they hav,e finished their work, and dropped into timely dissolution; death cc mes a t all seasons and all ages. Often He sends no summon before Him, but floats unseen on the breeze.
Thus it came to our dear Pro. William Smith, Sr. on Sunday, May 9, 2004. He was born to the late Sam and Mamie Smith on October 1,11925.
Hejoined the Moses P a p tist Church and served until moving to West Palm Peach, Florida; a fte r retiring and returning to Augusta, he joined the Peulah Grove P aptist Church and served until failing health.
