Mrs Ruby B. Smith was bom on May 28, 1938 in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia to the late Ruby Mae Samuels and Louis Bames.
A TIME TO BE BORN AND A TIME TO DIE. On March 1st, 2009 one dearly loved stepped across the threshold of life. But it was only a step into another room and out of the fellowship of life. It was a step into one of the rooms of our Father's House.
A TIME OF LOVE Ruby Smith was joined in Holy Matrimony to Hubert Smith, Sr.
A TIME OF MEMORIES Ruby's legacy is left to a devoted husband; Hubert Smith, Sr; sons, Frank L. Bames and Hubert Smith Jr.; daughter, Tamika Hall; granddaughters, LaWanda Tankersley, Ya'Kerria Tolbert, and ZeKieya Tolbert; great granddaughter, Shantiyara Bames; brothers, Leon Bames, John Bames, and Jerry Bames; sisters, Laura Neal, Fannie Mae Louis, Gloria Jackson, Carrie Lou Bames, Denise Bames Kirk, Lora Bames, Sheila Major, Patricia Dunn, and Barbara Jones; brother-inlaw, Nathaniel Weaver, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Weaver and Teresa (Delts) Dilliard; god-daughter, Linda(Edward) Ashley, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
