MRS. NANCY JONES SIMS was born on February 6, 1905 and was the daughter o f the late Robert and Sallie Jones. She was united in marriage to the late William Sims o f Hopkins. She departed this life on September 1, 1991, a fte r a lengthy illness.
A t an early age she joined the St. Mark Baptist Church and worked fa ith fu lly as a member o f the Senior Choir until her illness. She was quick to "Thank God" fo r what ever task she had completed and to say "If it's the Lord's w ill" when referring to things to come. In this sp irit she w ill be remembered.
She leaves to mourn two sons, Robert Sims Sr. and Robert Anderson Sr., both o f Gadsden; two daughters-in-law, Nellie N. Sims and Martha Anderson; twenty grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews; grandnieces and nephews; and many other sorrowing relatives and friends.
