He was born in Salu da County, on D e c e m b e r 28, 1955, a son of Mrs. Beulah Abney Simpkins and the late Mr. George Si mpkins, 3r.
Mr. S i m p k i n s had li ve d in Br oo kl yn , New Y o r k for a number of years.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his mother, Mrs, Beulah Abney Simpkins; a son Earl Simpkins; one brother, Mr. Thomas S i m p kins all of Brooklyn, NY; his paternal g r a n d fath er, Mr. G e o r g e A. S i m p k i n s of Saluda, SC; two aunts, Mrs. Lannie M . Lindsay and Mrs, Retha 3ones both of Saluda, SC; two uncles, Mr. Elzia Abney of Saluda, SC and Ur. Th omas Abney of Washington, DC; three great aunts, Mrs. Lizzie Coleman of Saluda, SC, Mrs. Mattie Williams of Ward, SC and Mrs. Ella Mae Rollana of Brooklyn, NY; one great uncle, Mr. Wash Coleman of Brooklyn, NY; one sister-in-law; one niece, one nephew; and a host of other r e latives and many sorrowing friends.
