** OBITUARY **
"I cannot tarry, the God that call all things to him calls me and I must go." So much have I had of joy, love, service, perhaps I should be glad to rest a little while - then begin again in some other sphere." These words are the echo of Mrs. Ethel Peterson Sellers, who departed this life Thursday, April 27, 1978 in Talmadge Me morial Hospital after a long period of illness.
She was bom in Edgefield County. At an early age she joined the Springfield Baptist Church in Edgefield.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gould (Sally) Peterson.
__ She leaves to cherish fond memories, a devoted daughter, Mrs. Alberta Holmes; five granddaughters, Mrs. Edwina Harley, Mrs. Dorothy Jenkins, Mrs. Ethel J. Smith, Mrs. Joann Bess, Mrs. Diane Holmes Harrison all of Augusta; grandson, Mr. Larry Hol mes (deceased); two nephews, Mr. Fredrick (Doug) DeVoe of New York City, Mr. Peterson DeVoe of Phila., Pa.; two nieces, Mrs. Ethel P. Toplin, Mrs. Emma P. Irby both of Augusta, six teen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends.
