On January 12, 1930, ESSIE MAE SEABROOK was born to the late Henry Coleman and Fannie Mae Coleman. On May 7, 2012, God plucked a rose from his garden by the name o f Essie Mae Seabrook.
Sister Seabrook received her early childhood education in the Richmond County School System. Sister Seabrook accepted Christ at an early age. She was a m ember o f Bethel A.M.E. Church, 1st Mt. Moriah and presently First Baptist Missionary Church, Stapleton, Georgia.
She was a loving and devoted wife to Reverend Dr. Frank Seabrook for thirty-eight years, and a loyal member to 1st Missionary Baptist Church Family.
She was a nurse assistant and practical nurse at MCG for more than twenty years. She was a member o f seven different organizations: First Lady o f 1st Missionary Baptist Church, Georgia Nurse's Association, Licensed Missionary, Laubach Literacy TUtor, Georgia Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows, Inc., Composes o f Class Song, member o f Walker Baptist Association, Eastern Star, m ember o f Walker Baptist Chorus, Georgia Association Valedictorian (1990) and Salutatorian (1993), Life-Member o f the Georgia Association, participated with the International Georgia Association, and Vice President o f the Local Chapter o f the Georgia Association for many years.
Left to cherish her memories are: her husband, Reverend Dr. Frank Seabrook; four daughters, Joyce Daniel (Charlie), Veronica Seabrook, Evelina Holman and Jacqueline Hampton; one son, Scott Seabrook (Iris) and many adopted daughters; twelve grandchildren; and a host o f great grandchildren, cousins and many loved ones.
