Mrs. Louise Bailey Scott was born on November 2, 1920, to the late Oscar and Rosa Bailey of Augusta, Georgia. She entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 24, 2011. Mrs. Scott gave her life to God at an early age, and she served faith fully at Hale Street Baptist Church before moving her mem bership to Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. C. S. Hamilton. Mrs. Scott loved her Sun day School Class. She was a faithful member of the Gospel Choir, and she was a "Mother" of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Mrs. Scott served as Director of Tabernacle Baptist Church Child Development Center for over 30 years. She diligently worked to build the Child Development Center as well as the minds of the children in her care. Her love for children was phenomenal, and she worked hard and long to make "her children" the best. God gave her the love for children and she used it well.
Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, George Scott; brother, Oscar Bailey, Jr.; and sisters: Clara Lowery, Evelyn Holliday and Millicent Hickson.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted son, James (Theresa) Brantley; an adopted daughter, Belinda Scott; a sister, Helen (Alexander) Shaw; one brother, George (the late Joyce) Bailey; two grandsons: Christopher B. Brantley and Brandon (Keyla) Brantley; three great grandchildren: Tywann (Marsha) Brantley, Derrick S. Brantley and Brandon J. Brantley, Jr.; two very special god daughters: Gloria (Dennis) Lewis and Barbara (Dennis) Rob erts; three dear nieces: Deborah (David) Robinson, Yolanda (Ron) Whaley and Brenda (Vincent) Davis; and a host of other relatives and very dear friends.

You Wonder Why
You wonder why I went away and didn't say goodbye, I couldn't bear to tell you, for it hurts me to see you cry.
My ship came in today, and beautiful to see, For the Captain was King Jesus, and He beckoned me.
I ran across the leeway and fell at His feet, He gently took me in His arms, My rest is now complete. -The Family-
