Mrs. Carrie Ann Scott9 daughter of the late Nell Scott, Sr. and Flora Daniels was bom in Gainesville, FL on November 26, 1941. She entered to rest on January 26, 2011.
Carrie, as she was affectionately called, was the mother of two children.
Those who knew Carrie loved her. She had an impact on people in all walks of life. Upon meeting her, a person was instantly stmck by her inner beauty, her warm sweet nature radiated love. She touched so many people's hearts with her winning smile, gentle and humble ways. Simply put, she was beautiful inside and out.
j. She was a devoted and faithful member of Beulah Grove Baptist
Church. She stressed attending church worships, tithing, having faith along with reading and studying the Word.
Her brothers, Harry Chandler and Willie D. Cooper amd sister, Doris Scott proceeded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, a devoted son, George Darey Mason, a dutiful, caring and loving daughter, Delia (Lydia) Lopez, both of New York, NY; three brothers, Nell Scott, James Daniels and Yusef Daniels; two sisters, Delores Scott, and Joan Daniels; three grandchildren, Frances, Marcos, and MichelTe; one great grandson, Christian; countless nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends that loved her, one friend in particular, Mrs. Lois Mayes, who was a very important part in Carrie's life and who was with her to the very end.
A Very Special Thank You and Blessings go out to her brother, Mr. Nell Scott, Jr. and his wife Gloria T. Scott, (Hephzibah, GA), who were responsible for her moving to Augusta from New York City in 2001. Both were by her side when her Heavenly Father called her home.
