Our dear sister in Christ, Alice Rucker, departed this life on Friday, April 12, 1991 in Charlotte, North Caroli na's Mercy Hospital after a long illness.
A faithful, loving, sweet woman to the end, Alice Rucker served her family, friends, and church well and will be remembered as one always willing to help anybody blessed to come across her path.
Born May 9, 1903 to the now deceased John and Annie Williams, Alice lived most of her 87 years in Wilkes County, Ga., where she met and married Willie Rucker. During the 62 years in which they were married, six child ren were raised, two of whom, John and Lillian Rucker, are also deceased.
Alice leaves to forever cherish her love and memory Willie Rucker, her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Willie M. Andrews and Mrs. Hattie Anderson; sons, Aubrey Rucker and Charlie Lewis Rucker; two sisters, Matt Lou Anderson and Lucy Johnson; one brother, W.T. Williams; 15 grand children; eight great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other rela tives and friends who all knew that to know Alice was truly to love her.
The Rucker family sincerely thanks everyone for their love and support during this time of loss. Your continued prayers will be much appreciated. God bless all of you.
