O bituary
Mrs. Theresa Cantey Ross was born February 28, 1929 to the late Mr. and Mrs. George M. Cantey o f Augusta, Georgia. In 1947 she was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Herbert M. Ross. To this union, Herbert Cantey Ross was born.
Mrs. Ross joined Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age and served as a Sunday School and Bible School teacher for more than fifty years. She sang in the E. L. Stewart Choir, was a Deaconess and worked diligently with many other church and civic organizations.
Mrs. Ross was a graduate o f Haines Normal and Industrial Institute o f Augusta, Georgia. She was employed with Brown Radiology as a technician for over thirty years before retiring.
She leaves memories that will be forever cherished by her loved ones: son, Herbert C. (Jacqlin V. Robinson, fiancee) Ross o f Charlotte, North Carolina; sister, Evelyn C. (Paul) Alexander o f Charlotte, North Carolina; grandson, Lt. Christian (Ayanna) Ross, USN, Okinawa, Japan; great grandson, Christian Francis Ross, Jr., Okinawa, Japan and a host o f cousins and friends.
