On Thursday morning September 17, 2009 the death angel visited and took Mary M. Reeves-Carver home for eternal rest. She was born January 7, 1946 to Louis J. Young (deceased) and Mary A. Young of Augusta. She was a faithful member of Friendly Church of God in Christ, where she served on the usher board, gospel choir and senior hospitality, until her health started to fail.
She was married to William L. Reeves who preceded her in death and through this union she had one daughter Margaret (John) Williams, three sons: Joseph Reeves, Robert Reeves, and Matthew (Sheila) Reeves all of Augusta, Ga.
Mary Leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband Richard Carver and three step children, Natasha Newton, Joshua Carver, Reba Carver all of Augusta, Ga. Maternal mother Mary A. Young Augusta, Ga, Three sisters Betty Robinson, Gertrude Mack and Leomi(Pete) Petoia, all of Augusta, Ga. And one brother Lewis Young of Augusta, Ga. She was proceeded in death by her brother Leroy Young. She also has a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
