Me of 3teolene Cooper porter
As we gather together to commemorate the life of one of Gods bravest warriors, it is with great appreciation that we thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for allowing us to spend quality years and happiness with Isolene Cooper Porter. Born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie E. Cooper, Sr., on May 31, 1949, in Augusta, Georgia. Isolene was the second oldest of four chil dren born in a highly religious family
She accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was baptized into the Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she served dutifully for many years. Her loyalty to the church was felt through her participation as a member of the Second Shiloh Jubiliars Choir.
She graduated from Lucy C. Laney High School in 1967 and Savannah State University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
It was on April 27, 1974 that she married Thomas B. Porter. They were blessed to parent two sons, both of whom are hard working and God-fearing.
Because God always hears his childrens pleas and knows their every need, he sent on angel from his own throne on April 30, 2005.
Mrs. Porter leaves to cherish many memories to a host of family and friends. These include: two sons, Thomas C. Porter and Brandon C. Porter; two sisters, Willerena C. Wiggins and Vanessa C. (Bernard) Davis; one brother, Willie E. (Linda) Cooper, Jr.; adopted brother, Parnell T. Cooper; five aunts, JoAnn Freeman, Louise Harden, Thelma Freeman, Teresa Hankerson and Pauline Sapp; two uncles, Nathaniel Harden and Freddie Freeman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, .other relatives and sorrowing friends.

I thank God for the time we spent Lessons learned from youth, caressing my soul Like the dove diat flies as a symbol of purity Passions run deep; like the moon that sits over die horizxm
You only wanted the best for your babies Sacrificing what you had for our cause
Singing sweet melodies like the hummingbird Always lending a helping hand widiout a pause
Where you are now diere is no pain or grief Dancing around with pearls of the heavenly hosts
We will see you again one day Laughing and cheering, we will never brag or boast
The pain felt now is very immense Friends and family are mourning deeply Never fret, the gates will shine for all of us We will talk again, oh what a joy it will be You will never be forgotten, know what I say is true One day we shall go home to glory; our ties we shall renew
Your loving son, Thomas C,
