Obituary
Mrs. Alzora Philpot, the last sibling o f Percy and Irene Kelly, passed away quietly on August 12, 2008, at the residence o f her daughter, Virginia Philpot Williamson of Cherry Ave.
At an early age, she was converted and baptized at Cochrane Grove Baptist Church in Girard, Ga. She united with Beulah Grove Baptist Church on December 1, 1935 (72 years ago) and was a faithful member o f the Senior Missionary Society.
Mrs. Philpot was preceded in death by her husband, James Roman Philpot, Sr., four children; James Jr., Theodore, Herbert, and Patricia, and siblings; Percy Jr., Nathaniel, Leroy Sr., Marion, Ross, Ted, Irene, and Alma.

Survivors include a devoted daughter, Virginia Philpot Williamson; ten grandchildren: Regina, special granddaughter, Vonteice, Techelle, Tiesha, Herbert, Jr., Anthony III, Courtney, Terrell, and Daniel Jr., (devoted grandson and caregiver), eight great grandchildren; Rodney, Jessie, Gin, Alyla, Anthony IV, Courtney, Jr., Cayla, and Julius, One great-great grandson, Caiden; one sister-in-law, Isbelle Kelly; hiece, Altamese and a special niece, Regina; two nephews, Leroy, Jr., John; one great nephew; Kelly, niece- in-law; Jean Aaron; and Dorothy, Shoronda, Precious, and Linda, who adopted her as their aunt, and a host o f other relatives and friends.
