A million times weve needed you A million times weve cried
If love alone could have spared you You would have never died. A heart of gold stops beating
Two smiling eyes closed to rest God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home.

"The Rose Still Grows Beyond the Watt"
Near a shady wall a rose .once grew Budded and blossomed in Gods free light
Watered and fed by morning dew, Shedding its sweetness day and night, As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall, Through which there shone a beam of light Shall claim of death cause us to grieve And make our courage faint or fall? Nay, let us faith and hope receive; The rose still grows beyond the wall.
