GVf ^/ \ae Dorothy Perrinwas born January 13, 1950, to the
late Lillie Mae Griner and Willie Henry Faison in Richmond County, Georgia. She departed this life on May 23, 2006.
She graduated from Lucy Laney High School in 1968, and married Mr. Horace Perrin, Sr. on May 31, 1968. To this union three sons were born, Horace Jr., Terrence, and Marcus.
She was converted and baptized at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Augusta, Georgia. Mae later moved her member ship to Mount Calvary Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. F. H. Hart, and served faithfully until failing health. She was an active member of the January Birthmonth Fel lowship Group, the Pastors Aide Council on Evangelism (P.A.C.E.), NBTU Church-In-Training Department, and A "China" Christmas Banquet Ministry. She was a supporter of the total program of the church. Mae was an advocate of education and she demonstrated the same through her de votion to the William Hill Memorial Fund for Educational Excellence, Inc.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her supporting and devoted husband, Horace E. Perrin, Sr; three loving and respectable sons, Horace, Jr., Terrence (Keri), both of Covington, GA, and Marcus Perrin, Augusta, GA; two sis ters-in-law, Rosa White, Augusta, GAand Eliza beth Fleming, Queens, NY; one brother-in-law, John (Frances) Perrin, Augusta, GA; seven godchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

If Only
If only I had said I was sorry when deep within my heart I really was, if only I had said I really love you while alive my love, the words could have been heard
If only I had did this one thing, or if only I had did something else, if only I could change the words that were spoken, then I could have been very proud of myself
If only I could change the past behind me, correcting all the things I wish 1 could, since this is something I have no control of, its the present I must do my worldly good
I will start out by saying thank you Jesus, for giving me another day to live, for if you had not shown me this mercy, this love I have would not be there to give
So for whatever time I have yet before me, this time I will spend doing Gods will, living so I will never have to say, "IF ONLY", until my life becomes so very still.
