She entered into rest on August 12, 1997, at Columbia Augusta Medical Center.
She was married to the late Reverend Willie H. Parks and resided in Augusta for thirty-eight years.
Mrs. Parks was a faithful member of Mulberry Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Lincolnton, Georgia.
She leaves to mourn her passing: one daughter, Willie Mae Johnson, Ogden, Utah; one son, Henry Frank Parks, Appling, Georgia; one sister, Nina Hunter, Augusta, Georgia; one daughter-in-law, Mattie Bell Parks, Appling, Georgia; one son-in-law, Theodre Johnson, Ogden, Utah; one brother-in-law, Garious Leverett, Lincolnton, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
