M y Insurance
I have an insurance with Jesus, I know that i t 's marked paid; For Jesus is the permium, and H e H is own life gave;
I took out an insurance for heaven, the best that could be found; N o w I have an insurance with Jesus, and for heaven I am bound.
I have an insurance with Jesus, that w o n 't lapse or fa ll to seed, For the premiums are paid daily by m y actions and m y deeds; The board o f directors are angels, and the President is Cod;
Jesus Christ is m y collector, all H e wants is the pure in heart. M y life is insured by Jesus, m y all I promise to give, 1 promise to live a Christian, to love, forget and forgive;
In turn, Jesus gave me insurance, salvation was m y benefit, A n d now I have the assurance somewhere around the throne I 'll sit.
N o w when m y life is ended, weep not, ju st let it be said, I 've cashed m y insurance for heaven, by divine hands now I 'm led,
M y way lies onward and upward to heights above the skies, M y insurance with Jesus will carry me safely o 'er the roaring tide.
