FAMILY: Husband, Mr. Jesse Norman; children, Mrs. Diane Norman Elam, Lincolnton, Justin Terence, Justina Bernadette, and Burshunda Marie Norman of the home; grandchildren, Miss Lawanda Evette Elam, Miss Latisha Booker, of Lincolnton; stepmother, Mrs. Susie Mae Freeman, of New York; sisters, Ms. Aszree Jones of Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. Azora Lewis of Lincolnton; brothers, Robert Ed and Harvey Russell Freeman of Lincolnton; maternal aunt, Ms. Esther Benson of Detroit, Mich.; paternal aunt, Ms. Doris Freeman Gunby of Lincolnton and Ms. Alma Freeman Williams, of Detroit, Mich.; son-in-law, Mr. Samuel Elam, Jr.; and mother-in-law, Ms. Roxie Norman of Lincolnton; nine brothers-in-law; eight sis ters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
