Obituary

Miss Mary Norman departed this life January 20, 1969 at the age of 29. She was born in Lincoln County and lived her entire life in Lincoln County, Ga.

She joined the New Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age. She was a faithful member until her health failed her.

Survivors are a devoted father, Mr. Charles Norman, a de

voted mother, Mrs. Ola Mae Norman, both of Lincolnton, Ga.

One sister, Mrs. Odessa Glover of Augusta, Ga.; one brother,

Mr. Willie Clifford Norman of Lincolnton; a step great-grand

mother, Mrs. Addie Norman, Ware Shoals, S. C.; four aunts,

Mrs. Ollie Mae Parks, Mrs. Peacola Starks, Mrs. Lizzie Stokes,

all of Lincolnton, Ga. and Mrs. Christine Ligor, Ware Shoals,

S. C.; nine uncles, Mr. Bradley Norman, Mr. William Norman,

Mr. Tom Norman, Mr. Sylvester Norman, Mr. John T. Nor

man, Mr. Ben O. Norman, Mr. Frank Norman, Mr. Walter Nor

man, Mr. Jessie L. .Norman; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Doris E.

Norman of Lincolnton; one brother, Mr. Frank Glover Jr., Au

gusta, Ga.; two nieces, two nephews and a host of relatives and

friends.

And after that the dark!

And may there be no sadness of farewell

When I embark;

For though from out our bourne

of time and place.

The flood may bear me

For I hope to see my pilot

Face to face when I have

crossed the bar.
