OBITUARY
Carrie Bell Gilchrist Myers was born August 17, 1942 in Augusta, GA to the late Henry & Katie (Knox) Gilchrist.
The Lord called her to eternal glory on June 8, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital.
At an early age Carrie was converted and baptized at the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. She served faithfully on the Mission In Action Ministry until her health failed.
In 1959 Carrie united in holy matrimony to the late William H. Myers, Jr. Four children were born to this union.
Carrie was employed at Ft. Gordon and retired after 25 years ofdedicated service.
Carrie leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, William (Katie) Myers, Vernon (Angela) Myers, Reginald Myers, Roderick (Monica) Myers all ofAugusta, GA., two daughters, Chartara Gilchrist, NaTasha McFarley, Augusta, GA., six grandchildren, Stephen, William IV, Waylan, Theodora Myers, Antoan Harris, Jermel Myers, three brothers, Henry Gilchrist, Robert (Alice) Gilchrist, David (Patricia) Gilchrist all ofAugusta, GA., two sisters, Inez G. Smith, Augusta, GA., Callie G. Dent, Grovetown, GA., two godsons, JaTravius Stewart and Corey Dent, eight sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and a host ofnieces, nephews, cousins andfriends.
