OBITUARY
Andrea Lois Moss-Hamilton, daughter of Alfred and the late Wanda Moss was born on January 1,1960. She departed this life on October 9, 1995 at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She came to Christ and joined the Bethlehem Church of God Holiness. She was a member of the Jr. Choir in the old church and a past member ofthe Mass Choir before her illness. She was educated in the D.C. Public Schools in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Anacostia Sr. High School in 1978. She furthered her education at the University ofthe District of Columbia. Her career started at the U.S. Senate Credit Union in 1978 and from there she moved to the Wright Patman Congressional Federal Credit Union. She was also a parttime employee ofthe Woodward & Lothrop Department Store in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland. She has been employed by the U.S. Capitol Police since 1982. Andrea touched the lives of many in several ways. There were several benefits given in honor of Andrea throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area during her illness. She enjoyed modeling, traveling, shopping, socializing, calligraphy and music. She was very well known in the fashion industry. In 1984, Andrea started her own modeling agency known as "Andrea & Co." She often entertained many with her extravagant fashion shows. Andrea will be truly missed but will never be forgotten. Andrea, leaves to mourn her beloved daugther, Martika LaWanda Hamilton; a devoted father, Alfred A. Moss, Sr.; stepmother, Alice Moss; one sister, Anna Moss; two brothers, Alfred, Jr. and Arnold Moss. Three nephews, Marcus Moss, Alfred Moss, HI and Darius Moss. Three nieces, Jenique Moss, Taneisha Parker and Jessica Andrea Moss. Two sister-in-laws, Doris Moss and Rhonda Moss. One brother-in-law, Mark Morrison. Three Godchildren, sixteen aunts, nine uncles, Godmother Isabella Prather and a host of relatives and friends.
