A CELEBRATION OF LIFE
A time to be born ... On September 5, 1952, to the union of Mable and the late Earl D. Moses, Sr., a fourth son was born, KEITH CORNELL MOSES. His childhood was joyful, loving and fulfilling.
A time to learn ... A 1970 graduate of McComb High School, a 1977 graduate of Millsaps College and a 1981 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dedicated to the task of achieving at the highest level, he excelled in every endeavor.
A time to serve ... KEITH was baptized at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in McComb, Mississippi and spent his early years actively involved in the youth activities of the church. During his later adult years, Keith reaffirmed his acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
After serving eleven years in the United States Army, he began private practice in the city of Augusta. He was an esteemed and respected Board Certified Ophthalmologist and his magnetic interpersonal skills were superseded only by his meticulous medical expertise and demeanor.
A time to love ... KEITH and Sandra spent thirty-two years of wedded bliss - loving and making each other happy. The years they shared together bore witness to the dedication of the love they had for each other. They were blessed with one son, Damion, who with his wife Tina, gave them two beautiful and adorable granddaughters, Skylar Elise and Ashlyn Lauren. They were "Popees" little darlings. But the first love of his life was his mother - Mable Moses - whom he cherished and adored.
A time to die ... On Thursday, July 1, 2004, KEITH made the transition from this life into the presence of Gods domain. He leaves memories that will be forever cherished in the hearts of his loved ones - loving wife, Sandra; son, Damion; daughter-in-law, Tina; grandchildren, Skylar and Ashlyn; mother, Mable R. Moses; sisters, Lyndia M. Williams, Marlyn M. Elbert, Felicia M. Knox; brothers, Earl D. Moses, Jr., Ronald E. Moses, Bruce E. Moses; mother-in-law, Geneva Butler; sisters-in-law, Tara Moses, Stephanie Covington, Pamela C. Smith, Shirley Butler; brothers-in-law, James B. Williams, Harold W. Elbert, Edward L. Knox, Dennis Butler, Larry Butler, William Smith; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by: father, Earl D. Moses, Sr.; brothers, Melvin Douglas, Clifford Freret, and Jeffrey Wayne.

Please dont say that I gave up, just say that I gave in.
Dont say I lost the battle, for it was Gods war to lose or win. Please dont say how good I was,
but that I did my best. Just say I tried to do whats right, to give the most I could, not to do less. Please dont give me wings or halos,
thats for God to do. I want no more than I desire,
no extras, just my due. Please dont give me flowers or
talk in harsh tones. Dont be concerned about me now,
Im well with God; Ive made it home. Dont talk about what could have been, its over and its done. Just see to all my familys needs, the battle has been won. When you draw a picture of me, dont draw me as a saint, Ive done some good, Ive done some wrong, so use all your paint. Not just the bright and light tones, use some gray and dark. In fact, dont put me down on canvas, paint me in your heart. Dont just remember all the good times, but remember all the bad. For life is full of many things, some happy and some sad. But if you must do something, then I have one last request. Forgive me for the wrongs Ive done and with the love thats left, Thank God for my souls resting, Thank God for all who loved me, Praise God who loved me best.
