Sharing his gifts and talents was his pleasure. He had a passion for education, discipline, mentoring, and training many youth whom he helped to transform into law abiding citizens. He was always proud of the students who rebelled him most. As it would turn out, many of them went on to be successful businessmen, politicians, concert promoters, and professional football players.

A Time For Community Service

His social affiliatons included Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the Masons. He was an avid golfer before the Lee

Elder and Tiger Woods days, and loved to teach others what he knew. He was a Life Member of the Augusta

Chorale.
