"The Lord is my shepherd; 1 shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters, he restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths o f righteousness fo r his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley o f the shadow o f death, 1 w ill fea r no evil: fo r thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence o f mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shallfollow me a ll the days o f my life : and I w ill dwell in the house o f the Lordfor ever."

f
Lord, M ake me an instrum ent o f thy Peace

Reflections B y H er Children
These reflections were' shared and written' in- 1998, in conjunction with the celebration o f M other's birthday. These and other special reflections and memories o f time spent together were completed and presented to her in a journal, "Memories o f a Lifetime, " which she always enjoyed reading.
Like all mothers, our mother was admired not only by her immediate fa m ily members, but equally as much by her many friends, peers, telephone comrades, and associates o f her daughters and son. During her 82nd Birthday Celebration, which lasted fo r several months, the children compiled a beautiful booklet and portfolio which contained reflections o f both a serious andjo vial nature.
M rs. Elizabeth, fo n d ly called (eA unt S is " by her nieces and nephews, enjoyed these reflections as her daughters shared these expressions with her in the prwcuy o f her treasured residence.
One o f M rs. M im s' fondest moments was to ensure that many members o f the community received well-balanced meals on a regular basis. She especially enjoyed serving others fro m what became known as "L I Z Z I E S K IT C H E N ."

To Those I Love and
Those Who Love M e
When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do. You must not tie yourselfto me with tears, Be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love ~ you can only guess How much you gave me in happiness. I thank you fo r the love you each have shown But now it is time I traveled on alone. So grieve awhilefo r me, i f grieve you must, Then let your griefbe comforted by trust. It's onlyfo r a while that we must part. So bless the memories within your heart. 1 won Y befa r awayfo r life goes on. So i f you need me, call and 1 will come. Though you can't see me or touch me, Til be near And i f you listen with your heart, you will hear, All o f my love around you, soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say,
"WELCOME HOME".
