w as baptized a t Antioch B aptist Church by the late Reverend
LJ. Yancy.
Wilson graduated from H aines N orm al a n d Industrial Institute a n d furthered his education a t Paine College, a n d M orris Brown College. O n Ju n e 12, 1952, he w as d ra fte d into the United States Arm y a n d served his country until 1953. He was a Korean W ar Veteran. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Servicefo r numerous years an d also The A ugusta N ation al G olf Club.
