"But the righteous live fo r evermore; their reward also is with the Lord, and the care o f them is with the most High. Therefore shall they receive a glorious kingdom, and a beautiful crown from the Lord's hand: for with his right hand shall he cover them, and with his arm shall he protect them."
- Wisdom o f Solomon 5:15-16
Even though thefig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive cropfails, and thefields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God o f my salvation! The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.
- Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NLT)
