(Damien gave his life to Christ andjoined the Tabernacle (Baptist Church at an early age. He was a very active member of the Sunday School(De partment andthe choir. (Damien was one ofthefirst young people to learn how to play the Hammondorgan under the tutelage ofSisterJanie MiCCsaps. (Damien was an extremely giftedyoung man, who playedsev eralinstruments andheld (first chair in the state of Cjeorgiaforfill-State competitions. Through the bandat John S. (Davidson Magnet Tinefirts High SchooC, he visitedJapan on two separate occasions to learn more about music, academics andculture.
