** OBITUARY **
Sunset and evening star and one clear call for me. God has come onee again to receive his own unto himself.
Mr. Robbie C. Mickens, Augusta, Georgia departed this life at the University Hospital, December 12,1977. He was the son of the late Mr. Henry Mickens and Mrs. Racheal White Mickens. He was born in the year of 1896, August 23.
He was converted and baptized at an early age at Green Bran ch Baptist Church, McDuffie County, April 20,1919.
He was married to Miss Eula Pearl Hawes and to this union one child was born.
He leaves to mourn, one daughter, Mrs. Rosa Lee White, Augusta; one son, C. Mickens, Lincolnton, Ga.; one adopted son, John C. Mickens; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Kennedy, Augusta and Mrs. Theodosia Johnson, Chicago, Illinois;two brothers,Mark Mickens, Augusta and Welcome Mickens, Charlotte, N. C.; one son-in-law, John T. White, Augusta, Georgia; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-inlaw; a dearfriend, nieces, nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
