** OBITUARY **
Life, death and eternity are three of the most powerful words in the English language. Life isgiven in infancy and it is his until death. At the coming ofdeath, man loses the earthly body, but the eternal soul of a Christian lives only.
Sis. Vivian Merriweather was born in Burke County, Georgia onjuly 14, 1949. She passed into eternal sleep onjuly 3, 1988 in the Humana Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.
She was reared and grew into womanhood in Burke County, where she graduated from Blakeney High School. She was employed at Southern Bell.
She was baptized at an early age at the Palmer Grove Baptist Church by the late Rev. M. E. Turner, where she was an active member, served on the Usher Board, Leroy Bing and Mary Walker Chorus.
She leaves to mourn, a loving husband, Dea. William Merriweather; two daughters, Ardis LaShawn Merriweather and Tara Tamiska Merriweather of Augusta, Ga.; one son, William Charles Merriweather of Augusta, Ga.; one God son, Aaron Johnson of Augusta, Ga.; parents, Dea. and Mrs. Charlie patrick of Augusta, Ga.; three sisters, Ms. Annie Bell Scott, Ms. Thelma Butler and Ms. Carla Harris all of Augusta, Ga.; two brothers, Charles Patrick, Jr. of Atlanta, Ga. and King David Patrick of Augusta, Ga.; seven aunts, Nellie P. Nelson, Queen Godbee, Maggie Patrick, Alice Roland all of Augusta, Ga., Ellen Sims, New York City, New York, Maryjones, Waynesboro, Ga., Estelle Crawford, Hephzibah, Ga.; four uncles, George A. Patrick, Earnest Walker, Albert Walker all of Waynesboro, Ga. and O. L. Walker, Augusta, Ga.; ten sisters-in-law, Thelma McCloud, Bessie Merriweather, Olivia Merriweather, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Nazirene Walker, Loraine Merriweather, Elease Merriweather, Jessie Merriweather, Barbara Merriweather, Augusta, Ga., Bertha Rosier, Savannah, Ga., and Gailnelle Patrick, Atlanta, G a.^gftrbrothers-inlaw, Eddie Scott, Hephzibah, Ga., Herbert Harris, Marcus Merriweather, Josh Merriweather, Willie Merriweather, Joseph Merriweather, Augusta, Ga., Herman Merriweather and Louis Merriweather, Pennsylvania; two nieces, one nephew, other relatives and a host of friends.
