OBITUARY
Mr. Grady Medlock, a son of the late Eldred and Winnie Watson Medlock was born January 17, 1910 in Saluda county, S. C. He entered into rest Friday, May 6, 1988 in the Evans Health Care Center, Evans, G a .
At an early age he joined the Mine Creek Baptist Church. He was united in holy wedlock in 1933 to Miss Carrie Mae Andrews. He later moved to New Jersey where he became affiliated with the Calvary Baptist Church, Garfield, New Jersey. He served as a Deacon and was active in other church activities.
After his retirement in 1975 from the Coastal Chemical Company, he returned to South Carolina.
Mr. Medlock was a member of the Mine Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also served as President of the Senior Choir for a number of years. One of his favorite songs was "Be Ready When He Comes Again". He was a member of the Mine Creek Burial Aid Society. He was also a faithful member of his Church until his health failed.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Carrie Mae Medlock; one son, Stanley Medlock; three grandsons Berion, Abrian, and Michael Medlock; one daughter-in-law Yvonne Medlock, all of Aiken, S. C. Four sisters-in-law three brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
