OBITUARY
Mrs. Rose Anna McKie, daughter of the late Mr. William Wigfall and Mrs, Louisania Mims Wigfall Quiller, departed this life Friday, December 7, 1979 at her residence.
She was born May 27, 1895 in Aiken County, South Carolina. She was converted at an early age and baptized at Old Macedonia Baptist Church where she served faithfully, Then she later joined the Mims Grove Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her passing.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Luther McKie, to this union twelve children were born of which two preceded her in death; Mrs. Annie Lou Nabriet and Mr. Levi McKie,
She leaves to mourn her passing, six daughters, Mrs. Allean McKie, Trenton, S.C., Mrs. Willie Mae Walker, Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Bessie Hill, Mrs, Rosie Key, Mrs. Mamie Thomas, Phila., Pa. and Mrs. Cassie Cosby, South Ozone Park, N.Y.; four sons, Mr, Arthur McKie, Mr. Daniel McKie, both of Graniteville, S.C., Mr. Woodrow McKie and Mr. Luther McKie, Jr,, both of Phila, , Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Annie Lou Bright, North Augusta, S.C.; two brothers, Mr. John Quiller, North Augusta, S.C, and Mr, Eli Quiller, Graniteville, S.C.; fifty-five Grandchildren, ninety-six Great-Grandchildren, sixteen Great-Great-Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain, Tear drops and laughter, pleasure and pain, We can't have all bright days, but it's
certainly true, There was never a cloud that the sun didn't
shine through,
