** OBITUARY **
Mr. Charlie McKie, age 86, departed this life on November 23, 1982 in the University Hospital after a long illness.
He was converted at an early age and became a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, where he served until death. He was united in Holy Wedlock to the late Mrs. Rosea William McKie and to this union ten children was born, one proceeded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his passing, seven daughters, Reathy Sut ton of Newark, N.J., Ella Mae Thomas of Augusta, Ga., Shirley Dent of Clarks Hill, S.C., Sarah McKie, Rosetta Twiggs, Charlotte Thomas, and Floriene McKie, all of Brooklyn, N.J.; three sons, Willie McKie of Rahway, N.J., Charlie McKie, Jr. of Air Force Base, Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Louis McKie of Augusta, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Lular Luke of Augusta, Ga.; three daughters-in-law, five sons-in-law, four brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, twenty seven grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
